FOCUS
ISAWP to the Next Level
The project focuses on advancing affective and sexual education through a comprehensive approach that includes research, the development of educational guides, best practices, and the training of trainers. By conducting thorough research on affective and sexual education, the initiative aims to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by diverse groups, particularly young people and those with disabilities, ensuring the educational content is both relevant and inclusive. The development of an education guide, combined with best practices, provides educators and youth workers with a structured framework to effectively teach about healthy relationships, emotional well-being, consent, and sexual rights. Additionally, the project emphasises the importance of building capacity through the "Training of Trainers" program, empowering educators to confidently deliver this crucial content. To ensure that the materials are both practical and impactful, piloting of the didactic materials will be conducted in real-world settings, allowing for feedback and refinement, ultimately leading to an optimised and accessible toolkit for promoting affective and sexual education.
